Networking 101: Breaking the Ice
|
One of the top reasons small businesses fail is because no one knows about them.Getting the word out, making connections, and gaining referrals are critical business activities often neglected.
Unless we break through the ice that can cause us to shy away from networking, our businesses won’t succeed.
This event is for you if you:
* Struggle to make networking a regular practice, a commitment * RSVP for events, but change your mind at the last minute * Are afraid, not sure what to say or do, when you do make it to an event
Join us and come away with:
* Tools for mastering the fear of networking * Encouragement to adopt a “just do-it” attitude * Techniques for being prepared * The best kinds of questions to ask
What you can expect:
* A lively panel discussion with real-life examples * A time for you to practice some of the techniques presented and network! * A discussion time for key take-aways, questions and answers
About NSCBCC: North Snohomish County Business Community Connections was established on March 23, 2009 by a North Snohomish County entrepreneur, Nancy LaMont, owner of Bee Royally Organized.
If you too have a heart for building/encouraging our community to share their talents, be sure to *join our group, * come meet us at our next event, or contact Nancy LaMont. |

Join Northwest Savoyards the 1st 3 weekends in March for the MIKADO!
|
The Mikado! www.northwestsavoyards.org
The most popular Gilbert and Sullivan opera, and arguably the most popular opera ever written. This opera has delighted audiences for more than a century, and spawned a number of imitations. But none were nearly as good as the original, which represented both Gilbert and Sullivan at the height of their creative geniuses.
A year before the action of this opera begins, Nanki-Poo, son of the Mikado of Japan, fled his father's imperial court to escape marriage with Katisha, an elderly lady. Disguised as a traveling musician, he met and fell in love with Yum-Yum, the young ward of Ko-Ko, a cheap tailor in the town of Titipu. Yum-Yum, however, was already betrothed to her guardian, and Nanki-Poo left Titipu in despair.
Schedule Fri., Sat., Sun., March 5, 6, 7 Fri., Sat., Sun., March 12, 13, 14 Fri., Sat., Sun., March 19, 20, 21 Showtimes are at 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2:30 PM on Sundays |
