Puget Sound wineries and tasting rooms

Washington State ranks second only to California in the production of wine grapes. Over 30,000 acres are devoted to wine grape production in the state. Many of Washington’s more than 500 wineries are located within easy driving distance, dotted in and around the Puget Sound.

The following list of wineries contains just a few of the many wine tasting opportunities available in this region. It is not a comprehensive list.

Before visiting a winery or wine tasting room, it is suggested visitors call in advance. Many are by appointment only or may be closed or have different hours during the winter months. A small tasting fee is standard.

Remember to designate a driver before starting a wine tasting adventure.
