Obama introduces running mate Biden 8/23/08

Obama picks Biden, McCain camp responds

Posted at 7:10 am by Jerry Cornfield

Sen. Barack Obama let me know at 1:56 a.m.. that he picked Sen. Joe Biden as his rumming mate.

My e-mail began:

Jerry --
I have some important news that I want to make official.

I've chosen Joe Biden to be my running mate.

Apparently I wasn't the first to get the official news.

Two hours earlier (at 11:44 p.m Friday) Ben Porritt, spokesman for the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain issued this statement:

There has been no harsher critic of Barack Obama's lack of experience than Joe Biden. Biden has denounced Barack Obama's poor foreign policy judgment and has strongly argued in his own words what Americans are quickly realizing -- that Barack Obama is not ready to be President.

Today will be filled with statements from politicians and supporters of the two candidates. I'll post a few that I receive.

Biden endorsed by Neil Kinnock?
Anyone know who's acceptance speech Senator Biden will be borrowing from?

Rush will be delighted
Rush has sooo much ammunition to shoot down this duo, and all in their own words.
But Biden can always hang out with Kerry and Edwards and Hillary and all the other also-rans in the senate. It's getting to be quite a senate caucus all by itself!
