Seaway Business
Park buildings
sold in Everett
Colliers International recently brokered the sale of two Seaway Center
buildings for $12.2 million. The seller was Panattoni Development Co,
builder of the structures in 2004. Building “G” is occupied by Marine
Spill Response Corp., while Building “H” has four tenants: Maverick International,
Valley Electric Co., Air Van Lines Inc, and the Great Little Box Co.
Tin Fish opens
in Mukilteo
The first Tin Fish restaaurant franchise in Washington is open in Mukilteo
near the ferry dock, owned by Steve and Nessia Vincent of Everett. Open
daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Tin Fish seats 70 and serves the standard
Tin Fish seafood menu, plus local Northwest items such as razor clams,
Dungeness crab and local shellfish.
Nextel, EDC form
partnership
The Snohomish County Economic Development Council has named Nextel Communications
Inc. as its newest business development partner. Nextel recently expanded
its network coverage into additional county areas. The two partners plan
to work together with EDC community partners.

Boot Camp program June 8
WorkSource Snohomish County will hold a one-day Manager’s Boot Camp on
June 8 at The Manor Conference Center in Everett. The training in hands-on
and transactional management techniques, featuring Bruce Tulgan and Dr.
Carolyn Martin, will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fees are $50 per person,

with Northwest Software Tech
Blackbaud Inc., of Charleston, S. C., the leading provider of software
and related services for nonprofit organizations, has partnered with Northwest
Software Technologies Inc. of Everett to provide integrated fund-raising
and auction management solutions. Northwest Software Technologies Inc.
is the leading provider of event fund-raising software.
JAMCO
wins Boeing 787 work
Boeing has selected JAMCO Corp. of Everett to provide flight deck interiors
— including a stowage area, linings and the stowage consoles near the
seats — and the flight deck door and bulkhead assembly for its 787 Dreamliner.
The awards are in addition to the lavatories contract awarded earlier
this year. Mike Bair, vice president and general manager of the 787 program,
said Boeing has a long relationship with JAMCO.

with Edmonds Real Estate Center
Cascadia Lending has joined the Edmonds Real Estate Center, home of John
L. Scott — Edmonds and First American Title & Escrow. Cascadia Lending
provides loans to the housing industry in Snohomish County, offering a
variety of home financing, refinancing and reverse mortgage options.
Starr group raising
funds for Fourth
Flying Pig
Brewing Co. owner Joel Starr has formed an Everett Fourth of July Fireworks
Foundation to raise money for the holiday fireworks display over Port
Gardner Bay. As of early May, the organization was halfway to its goal
of raising $60,000. To donate, call Starr at 425-344-1606.
Wells Fargo funds
schools
Wells Fargo has donated thousands of dollars to Snohomish County school
districts through its Team Up for Our Schools program. School districts
receiving recent donations included Edmonds, $4,170; Everett, $2,920;
Lake Stevens, $1,675; Marysville, $1,365; Monroe, $805; Snohomish, $715;
and Stanwood, $825.
Rusty Skate arrives
at rink
The Rusty Skate Pro Shop at the Comcast Community Ice Rink celebrated
its grand opening May 6, bringing hockey equipment as well as figure-
and speed-skating gear to downtown Everett. The shop, open Tuesday through
Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, is owned by

Vying for cinnamon
roll record
The House of Bread in Mill Creek celebrated its grand opening last fall
by baking an 80-plus-pound cinnamon roll to share with the public. Now,
the Mill Creek bread shop is hoping to enter the Guinness World Records
book by baking a 200-pound cinnamon roll for its one-year anniversary
this fall. Co-owner Wayne Warren and his crew are making a 6-foot-square
baking sheet to hold the cinnamon and sugar confection. As with the first
giant pastry party, the public will be invited as soon as a date has been
set.
